Cephilexine Comprimidos 10 Tablet/ Strip

Cephalexin is widely distributed in most tissues and body fluids, making it suitable for the systemic treatment of various bacterial, respiratory, urinary, genital tract, osteoarticular and skin infections affecting canines and felines.

Composition : Each tablet contains:
- Cephalexin (as Monohydrate)........................... 500 mg

 Target Spp. : For canines and felines.

Indications : Skin, soft tissue, osteoarticular, otitis (with perforated eardrum), respiratory tract and genitourinary infections.

Route of administration: oral.

Dosage :                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Canines and felines: 20-30 mg/kg every 8-12 h.- 1 tablet / 20 kg as an average dose.                                                                   - In canines weighing less than 20 kg and in felines, 1/4 tablet every 5 kbp is recommended.
- As a choice for prolonged treatments of infectious dermatopathies for more than 30 days.
- In Superficial Pyoderma: it is suggested to continue administration 7-10 days after the dermatitis has disappeared.
- In Deep Pyoderma: it is suggested to continue administration 14-21 days after the dermatitis has disappeared.
