Dexamethasona Injection, 50mL

Description: Corticosteroid. Antiallergic. Antiphlogistic.

Formula: Every 100 ml, it contains:
- Dexamethasone 21 phosphate .........................200 mg

Indications:                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

1- Treatment of bovine ketosis, ovine ketosis, (anaphylactic, traumatic and infectious)                                                                  2- Shocks (associated with the specific treatment )                                                                                                                            3-Localized or generalized allergic or inflammatory manifestations, neuritis, polyneuritis, tendinitis, myalgias, bursitis, paresis, urticaria and eczemas.                                                                                                                                                                  4- Prevention and treatment of “transport stress”.                                                                                                                              5- Coadjutant in the treatment of the “downer cow” syndrome.                                                                                                        6- Treatment of the udder edema (associated with diuretics). Parturition induction in cows and sheep.

Animal species to which it is intended: Cattle, horses, sheep, dogs and cats.

Administration: By intravenous, intramuscular, intra-synovial or intra-articular route or local infiltration.

Dosage:

 - Cattle: 2.5 to 10 ml.                                                                                                                                                                  - Horses: 2.5 to 12.5 ml.                                                                                                                                                                            -Sheep: 1.25 to 10 ml.                                                                                                                                                                                -Dogs: 0.125 to 0.5 ml.                                                                                                                                                                              -Cats: 0.06 to 0.125 ml.
