- Composition : Contains per ml:

  • Tylosin (as tartrate).............................200 mg

- Description:

1- Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and Brachyspira spp.

- Indications :

Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin-sensitive microorganisms like Campylobacter spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and Treponema spp. in cattle, calves, sheep, goats

- Contraindications:

1- Hypersensitivity to tylosin.

2- Concurrent administration of penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.

- Side Effects:

**After intramuscular administration local reactions can occur, which disappear in a few days.

( Diarrhoea, epigastric pain and skin sensitization can occur ) .

-Dosage:

1- For intramuscular administration.

2- General:  1 ml per 10 - 20 kg bodyweight for 3 – 5 days.

-Withdrawal Times:

- For meat: 10 days.
- For milk: 3 days.
